Yeony & Kent got married at the Inn at Westwood Farm, and it was by far one of the most unique weddings I've had the privilege to be a part of. Yeony is from Korea, and she met Kent while he was teaching there. They fell in love there and have since moved to Austin, Texas where just prior to their wedding, they had completed their masters degrees. After this wedding in Virginia, they had another ceremony in Korea before a well deserved honeymoon throughout Europe. Their wonderful friends and family were so kind, and two close friends actually performed the ceremony together, filling it with wonderful stories about Kent & Yeony's relationship.
The day started with portraits of Yeony and Kent in traditional Korean hanbok, taking a walk on the beautiful property. We had done their engagement portraits earlier in the week, so knew all the spots we wanted to go. Then, after a second round of hair/makeup (thanks to Marci & AMBY) they had a first look with Yeony in her bridal gown and Kent in his tux. Most of the portraits were done before the ceremony, which I love because it means the newlyweds don't have to focus on photos after the ceremony, but can go right to the reception with their guests!
Again, the heartfelt speeches at the reception really reflected what a wonderful couple Kent & Yeony are, and I wish them a beautiful life together!
